The fabulous new Coffee Cloud is set to open its doors in Dickens Heath on Monday 24th October. dh caught up with owners Terry and Pam Stableford to find out more about the new addition to our village.
From next Monday expect Dickens Heath High Street to be filled with the delicious aroma of fresh, Fairtrade Brazillian Daterra coffees, roasted in Stratford; loose-leaf teas from the Real Tea Company, infusing in stylish individual teapots and the tantalising smell of cakes baked fresh on the premises, as the much-anticipated Coffee Cloud opens for business.
Designed to be a high-quality, relaxing experience, a real hub for the local community, the coffee shop has been created by Terry and Pam Stableford, a local couple whose family have lived in Dickens Heath for over 40 years and whose life-long passion for great tea and coffee led them from previous careers in finance and landscape gardening to open Coffee Cloud.
Terry and Pam told dh: “We have always loved visiting great tea and coffee shops, preferring them to bars or pubs and we felt Dickens Heath was ready for this kind of high-quality, independent venue. Our aim is to create welcoming environment where people come for fresh teas and coffees, great service and a warm and friendly atmosphere. We’ve found some wonderful local suppliers and a baker who will be based in the cafe hand-making American-style cupcakes, cake slices and tray bakes to accompany our range of hot and cold drinks.”
Coffee Cloud will offer wi-fi access for professionals working remotely and children will be welcome with a babycino on the menu, organic fresh juices, high chairs and crayons for budding artists. As well as cakes they will serve up light lunches including paninis and soups and offer yummy fresh pastries for breakfast.
Coffee Cloud will be open from 8am-5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sundays. Why not pop in and see them and help The Stablefords make a huge success out of this new addition to our lovely village?
