On a lovely, surprisingly mild evening, about 40-50 villagers gathered to sing carols before heading off for a drink and a mince pie at the Parish Council rooms (or, in my case, to wrestle two overtired small people into bed!). Just like the Remembrance Day service it was a lovely opportunity to bring our community closer together.
And the choir who joined us were fabulous – drowned out my caterwauling beautifully, for a start!
Merry Christmas Dickens Heath!
