Santa Claus IS coming to town!

December 5, 2012 By DH.net

After much Twittersphere pressure from villagers, it looks like Shirley Round Table are revising their route and will bring Father Christmas and his sleigh to Dickens Heath on Friday 21st December to bring Christmas cheer to children and raise money at the same time.

It’s fantastic that they have changed their plans to include the village – so, assuming the licence issues they mention are resolved – now Dickens Heath needs to get ready to make Father Christmas welcome!

The timings are still to be confirmed, but the kids are on holidays, so keep an eye out for information and if you are around in the village when he’s due, let’s line the streets for Santa and get Christmas underway in Dickens Heath.

If you can help on the day email us at info@dickensheath.net and we will put you in touch with the organisers.

And if you don’t get to see him on the 21st, why not follow his progress around the world on Christmas Eve with the brilliant, brilliant, brilliant NORAD Tracks Santa.
