Shine set to take Aoife’s fundraising total well over £25,000!

February 4, 2013 By DH.net

Shine1Already at a staggering £22,500, the fundraising campaign in memory of  DH teenager Aoife O’Connor is set to pass £25,000 after at least £2,000 was raised at the weekend during ‘Shine’ – the special performance in Aoife’s memory – by members of the Love2Dance Dance School.

Tidbury Green Hall was packed to the rafters for the performance which, we hear, featured performances from the audience as well as the dancers!

Aoife’s family have praised Naomi and the Love2Dance team for their fundraising, their love and support in particular for Aoife’s younger sister Ciara and their contribution to the community.

Last week’s Solihull News featured a story about the tireless efforts of her friends and family to raise funds in her memory. Click here to read the story.

All money raised from events in Aoife’s memory is going to Brain Tumour UK to support their work in finding a cure for and caring for those suffering from  brain tumours.
