Oliver’s Army raise £1,900 at Christmas event

December 6, 2013 By DH.net

olivers army craft fairOliver’s Army Christmas Craft Fair has raised a fantastic £1,904.24 to support Oliver Harness of Dickens Heath who suffers from Duchennes Muscular Dystrophy.

The funds were raised made up of £500 from stall sales which have gone directly to Oliver to help fund a new electric wheelchair. Oliver’s family were also able to reclain Gift Aid on donations and, thanks to the BIG GIVE,  double the amount raised from Santa/Raffle/Tombola/Donations to ensure that the fight to fund a cure for Duchennes Muscular Dystrophy gets a valuable £1,400 financial boost too.

Oliver’s family would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part and supported such a worthy cause!

You can keep up to date with the fundraising and awareness campaign by following Oliver’s Army on Facebook.
