Only £3 per car!
How dirty is your car? Whether it’s mildy dusty or you can no longer remember what colour it is under the mud come along and get it cleaned for £3 by the lovely team at Solihull Fire Station and support two Dickens Heath children, Jake Mole and Oliver Harness, who are doing an amazing job raising funds for causes very close to their hearts.
Jake Mole was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on 20 March 2014 will be donating his half to the Children’s Diabetes Charitable Group at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital and this will be used to fund events such as residential camp, christmas parties, day trips and other events which bring children with diabetes together.
Oliver Harness was diagnosed, at the age of 4, with a muscular wasting condition – Ducheene Muscular Dystrophy – for which there is no cure. By the age of 10 years old Oliver will no longer be able to walk and will require an electric wheelchair which the NHS can not provide due to the costs.
Jake and Oliver are really looking forward to taking part in the Charity Car Wash and would like to raise as much awareness and funds towards both charities.
The two families appreciate any support Dickens Heath residents can give as it will make a difference to both Jake and Oliver lives – as well as to many others too.
