Dickens Heath collection for refugees

September 5, 2015 By DH.net

boatDickens Heath resident Duncan Kellett and friends are coordinating the collection of essential items for refugees stranded at Calais.Duncan intends to drive to Calais with a vehicle full of much-needed supplies within the next couple of weeks.

Lots of villagers have already indicated that they’d like to contribute – could you do the same?

There will be a collection point at Festival on the Green next weekend (12th September) – and hopefully one or two other locations as well (more details to follow as soon as possible).

Can you spare any of the following (please also note what is NOT needed):

Calais items list

Please gather your items together and either drop at the festival next weekend or wait for details of alternate collection points to follow in a couple of days. If you’d prefer you can also donate money which will be taken to Calais and used to buy anything else necessary for the camp.

If you have any questions and don’t know Duncan personally to ask directly then please do email info@dickensheath.net and we will pass them on.

Thank you…
