Dickens Heath-based Pop Chorus Juniors responded to the BBC’s request for people to sing-a-long to Do-Re-Mi as part of this year’s Last Night of the Proms celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Sound of Music.
Filmed in a Dickens Heath back garden in the summer, a short clip of the kids and choir director Anya Small in their bright blue Pop Chorus t-shirts was uploaded to the BBC website and largely forgotten about until last night’s broadcast on BBC 1, when they kicked off a short clip of the medley introduced by Katie Derham and reappeared twice more during the film!
