Not long to go now until Festival on the Green. Here’s the full line-up of stage performances and times to help you plan your afternoon:

Hello and welcome!
Festival is formally opened by the Mayor of Solihull, Cllr Glenis Slater

1.45pm                
Dickens Heath School Choir                                                       
Songs performed by Key Stage 1 and 2 singing groups, conducted by Mrs Maddock

Love2dance       
Dance academy which rehearses in the village hall and school

2.40pm                
Sickened Society             
Heavy metal/rock band featuring local kids. Also playing at the O2 Academy!

Pauline Quirk Academy of Performing Arts                                        
Singing and dancing by the children of the Light Hall School-based performing arts academy

3.45pm                
Voltage                
Rock band founded at Dickens Heath School and going strong many years later with lots of familiar faces

Solihull Pop Chorus        
Children and adults from the Dickens Heath and Balsall Common-based amateur choir perform some of their huge catalogue of pop classics. Conducted by Anya Small. Get ready to sing along!

Partners in Crime            
Classic covers and dance floor fillers from the Midlands leading party band – with Anya Small on the mike.

Festival closes
